Georgian Election Commission’s preliminary results put ruling party at 54%

The Central Election Commission of Georgia on Sunday published updated data of preliminary results of the parliamentary elections held on Saturday, with the ruling Georgian Dream party leading with 54.234 percent of votes, according to Agenda.ge.

The results from over 99.261 percent of votes counted put the numbers for other major election subjects as follows:

Unity – to Save Georgia coalition, led by the United National Movement and involving Strategy Agmashenebeli and other political figures - 10.105 percent

For Georgia, led by former Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia - 7.753 percent

Coalition for Change, involving Ahali, Girchi – More Freedom, and Droa - 10.822 percent

Strong Georgia, involving Lelo for Georgia, For People, Citizens, and Freedom Square - 8.758 percent
