Mongolia and Belarus have signed several cooperation documents, Xinhua reports citing the Mongolian presidential office.

More than 10 documents were signed in the presence of Mongolian President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh and his visiting Belarusian counterpart, Alexander Lukashenko.

These documents encompass an agreement on friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, a roadmap focusing on agricultural cooperation, and agreements related to the mutual recognition of driver's licenses and educational certificates or academic degrees.

Additionally, there are agreements aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation in tourism, economy, environment, light industry, and other sectors.

Lukashenko arrived in Ulan Bator on Saturday for a four-day state visit, accompanied by his high-ranking political and economic delegation.

The state visit holds particular significance as it marks the first visit by a Belarusian president to Mongolia since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1992.
