Western advice isn’t aimed at establishing peace in the South Caucasus. The West acts only in its own interests, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at the traditional annual press conference, Report informs.

“We know well that the good advice of Western friends is always present in the South Caucasus, and this advice is sometimes accepted by one or another participant in the process. But the fact that Western advice is always aimed not at finding an agreement between countries and regions based on a balance of their interests, but to advance their geopolitical objectives - this is also well known to everyone,” Lavrov noted.
