President Meloni’s telephone conversation with President Zelensky

The President of the Council of Ministers, Giorgia Meloni, had a telephone conversation today with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, which was the first with an international leader since the beginning of the Italian G7 Presidency. Expressing solidarity for the victims of the recent Russian bombings across Ukrainian territory, President Meloni assured President Zelensky that the issue of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine will be at the centre of Italy’s G7 Presidency and confirmed that the Italian Government will continue to support the Ukrainian Authorities in all areas, with the goal of achieving a just and lasting peace, according to Italian government.
