Russian embassies in Burkina Faso and Equatorial Guinea may open before the end of the year, Ambassador at Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry, head of the secretariat of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum Oleg Ozerov told TASS, XQ informs.
“We are making all the necessary efforts to complete work on both countries by the end of the year. Now we are very closely engaged in the practical aspects of preparations for the opening of embassies. To a greater extent, practical readiness is with Burkina Faso, a little less so with Equatorial Guinea,” the diplomat said.
“We hope that, taking into account the positive results of the Russia-Africa summit, we will be able to quickly implement these plans,” he concluded.
