An online meeting was held to develop cooperation between Baku Engineering University (BEU) and Khalifa University, one of the prestigious higher education institutions of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
In her remarks, BEU Vice-Rector for International Relations Atraba Gul highlighted the current state of existing cooperation ties with Khalifa University and their future development prospects.
Recalling the visit of the BEU delegation to Khalifa University last month, she emphasized that this visit was of great importance in terms of strengthening mutual trust and building cooperation between the parties.
The Vice-Rector highlighted opportunities for the implementation of joint projects in the fields of engineering, technology, innovation, and scientific research, as well as exchange programs, dual-degree initiatives, and other forms of academic cooperation.
During the meeting, attended by the academic staff of both universities, the parties discussed the prospects of existing relations between the two institutions and held extensive exchanges of views on the implementation of joint scientific projects in relevant fields, the establishment of research cooperation, and the organization of mutual experience exchange.
The sides also explored opportunities for strengthening cooperation at the level of academic staff and preparing joint scientific publications. An initial agreement was reached on the systematic development of institutional relations between the parties.
Khalifa University, as one of the leading higher education institutions of the UAE, holds high positions in international ranking tables and stands out for its strong academic potential in the fields of science, engineering, technology and research.
