“This year, the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory conducted researches on 8 topics namely in physics and dynamics of celestial bodies, including complex studies of stars and galaxies, as well as problems of physics and dynamics of the Sun and Solar System objects and significant results were achieved in this area,” Nariman Ismayilov, Nariman Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Shamakhi Astrophysical Observatory, professor, told AZERTAC.
According to him, 30 articles were published during this year, with 11 of them being added to the Web of Science Core Collection (WoS), and Scopus databases.
He said that 51 thesis were presented during the national and international conferences, noting that the Azerbaijani Astronomical Journal had been included into the Scopus scientometric database.
