As part of his visit to Azerbaijan, Salim bin Mohammed AlMalik, Director-General of ICESCO, visited several educational facilities in Shusha and Khankendi.

Salim bin Mohammed AlMalik, accompanied by Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Science and Education, first familiarized himself with the educational facilities put in place at the Shusha City Secondary School No. 1 and met with students.

ICESCO Director-General also visited the Garabagh University and viewed the newly constructed buildings, the conditions created in the auditoriums and laboratories, as well as the dormitory’s facilities.

Shahin Bayramov, Rector of the Garabagh University, briefed the delegation about the university’s activity.

As part of the trip, the delegation led by the ICESCO Director General also toured the Garabagh University Clinic. Head the Clinic, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Samir Babayev, briefed the delegation on the Clinic’s activities, facilities, and future plans.
