Free elective course on studying Azerbaijani language launched in Ukraine

A free online elective course on studying the Azerbaijani language has opened in Ukraine, Report informs.

The classes are conducted by the head of the Heydar Aliyev Center for Azerbaijani Language and Culture at the Kyiv National Linguistic University, Intigam Shikhizade, via the Zoom online platform.

As part of the elective, students from all over Ukraine have the opportunity not only to study the language, but also to get acquainted with the rich culture and history of Azerbaijan, its geography, customs and traditions.

The project has already received positive feedback from both participants and teachers, who emphasize the importance of such initiatives for the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.

"Currently, the elective course is attended by more than 50 participants, most of whom are Ukrainians. Among the students, there are also several Azerbaijanis and teachers from various universities," said the initiator of the elective, co-founder of the Ukrainian-Turkic Center Maryna Honcharuk.

The elective course is being held under the auspices of the Ukrainian-Turkic Center with the support of lawyer Shamsi Maharramov.
