Azerbaijan’s Ganja State University inks cooperation agreement with Turkish Kafkas University

Azerbaijan’s Ganja State University (GSU) and the Turkish Kafkas University have signed an agreement on cooperation as GSU Rector Yusif Yusibov has met with a delegation from Kafkas University of Türkiye led by Rector of the university Husnu Kapu.

 

The agreement envisages the exchange of students, academic and administrative staff, publications and other materials, the organization of joint seminars, educational programs, as well as the implementation of joint research and development projects.

 

The Turkish delegation was accompanied by Education Advisor of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Türkiye Najiba Nasibova.

 

GSU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Shahin Khurshudov and Director of Department of Innovations Vasif Hasanov were also present at the meeting.

 

Rector Yusif Yusibov informed the delegation about the University, its scientific activities, international relations, as well as the its cooperation with several prestigious universities of Türkiye.

 

“Under the agreement signed with Izmir’s Dokuz Eylül University, the double diploma program is being successfully implemented,” said the GSU rector.

 

Rector of Kafkas University Husnu Kapu highlighted the university’s activities, specialties, and personnel training.

 

The meeting also focused on various topics, including academic exchange and cooperation between the two universities.
