Head of the Tbilisi Regional Office of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Gebhard Reul and Project Coordinator of the Office for Azerbaijan Sever Garayeva visited the Baku Higher Oil School of SOCAR (BHOS).

The guests informed BHOS students about DAAD, the scholarship program it offers, and the selection process. They also answered the students’ questions.

During the meeting with the guests, Rector of Baku Higher Oil School Elmar Gasimov said that BHOS cooperates closely with DAAD. He noted that BHOS students prevail among those awarded with the DAAD scholarship, and that this year seven BHOS students received this scholarship. The rector also noted that thanks to the DAAD scholarship, this year, the International Summer School on Energy Transition in Oil Producing Countries was successfully held at Baku Higher Oil School, in which 16 German students participated.

Speaking about the prospects of cooperation with Baku Higher Oil School, the head of DAAD Regional Office emphasized that very educated, knowledgeable and capable students study at BHOS.
