In accordance with the action plan for the current year, meetings with students are held with the aim of military-patriotic upbringing of the youth and instilling in them a sense of devotion to statehood, the Ministry of Defense told XQ.

According to the plan, the delegation of the National Defense University met with students of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University.

First, the memory of National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev, and martyrs, who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence of the Motherland, was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.

Enlightenment talks on educating the youth in the spirit of commitment to national-spiritual values, statehood and patriotism were held at the meeting.

A video about the combat training of Azerbaijani servicemen, the daily activities of soldiers and officers were shown to the students, and their questions were answered.

Discussions on cooperation in the field of science and education were held at the meeting, which was also attended by the teaching staff of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University.
