The "Ana Vatan" (Motherland) European Azerbaijani Women's Association hosted a celebration of Ramadan Bayram in The Hague.
The event was attended by diplomats from the Azerbaijani Embassy in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, as well as active members of the Azerbaijani community residing in the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium.
The commemoration began with a moment of silence to honor the sons and daughters who sacrificed their lives for Azerbaijan's independence, followed by the National Anthem of Azerbaijan.
Mayisa Aghamirzayeva, head of the "Ana Vatan" European Azerbaijani Women's Association, provided an overview of the association's activities and extended holiday greetings to the attendees.
Mammad Ahmadzade, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, congratulated the Azerbaijani community on Ramadan Bayram, stating: "For several years now, Azerbaijan has celebrated its holidays with its territorial integrity and sovereignty fully restored. This achievement is owed to our heroic soldiers, veterans, and martyrs, who, under the leadership of President and Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, liberated our occupied lands during the 44-day Patriotic War in 2020."
The celebration concluded with a "Birlik" concert program performed by the "Gala" music ensemble.
