In September 2024, Azerbaijan will welcome more than 400 international guests for the 29th Annual Conference and General Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP), IAP Secretary General Roel Dona said during a scientific-practical conference on protecting green spaces from climate change held in Shaki, Azerbaijan.
According to Report, the event was attended by Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev and other high-ranking officials. Roel Dona praised the Azerbaijani Prosecution Service's experience in combating environmental offenses, which has been highly regarded by international and regional organizations. He emphasized the importance of joint efforts in fighting global climate change.
Roel Dona also discussed the preparations for the upcoming conference and organizational matters.
