It is planned to put 100 new electric buses into operation in Baku by the end of this year, said Anar Rzayev, chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (ALTA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, Report informs.
He made the remark at the conference themed on "Economic reforms and modern challenges to improve the business environment" organized by the Commission for Business Environment and International Ratings in Baku.
"The bus fleet will be renewed, new bicycle paths will be built. Also, it is planned to purchase 150 electric taxis for the Ministry's Baku Taxi Service LLC," Rzayev stated.
