Azercosmos, space agency of Azerbaijan and Azerbaijan Renewable Energy Agency under the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan have signed a cooperation agreement.
According to the agreement, satellite images and its solutions will be used in projects to assess and utilize renewable energy sources in the country.
The satellite images will create an opportunity to identify and assess renewable energy resources and to draw maps of potential territories.
A training program will be developed for experts of the two agencies to share knowledge and skills on renewable energy evaluation.
