By hosting the Global Baku Forum, Azerbaijan demonstrates its commitment to open dialogue. At a time when geopolitical tensions are on rise worldwide, economic uncertainties are also deepening, which in turn negatively affects multilateral cooperation, said Francisco Gamboa Soto, First Vice President of the Republic of Costa Rica, at the opening ceremony of the 13th Global Baku Forum.
According to him, the platform presented by Azerbaijan allows people with differing views to come together and work on solutions acceptable to all sides. Francisco Gamboa Soto emphasized that respect for international law must be upheld as a fundamental principle.
