Pakistan's Senate Chairman expresses concern over drone attacks on Azerbaijan
Chairman of the Senate of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani held a phone conversation with Speaker of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis Sahiba Ghafarova.
During the telephone conversation, the sides discussed the ongoing developments in the region. Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani expressed concern over drone attacks carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran on Azerbaijan, condemning these attacks. He emphasized that Pakistan had always stood by Azerbaijan.
Speaker Sahiba Ghafarova expressed gratitude for the support and solidarity shown.
The parties also exchanged views on further enhancing cooperation between the two countries' parliaments amid tense processes currently taking place in the world.
