“We welcome with satisfaction the steps taken toward lasting peace and stability between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as well as toward regional cooperation,” said Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye, in a press statement following the informal meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Istanbul.
“These steps show that peace in the South Caucasus is already beginning to take shape on a practical level. Our greatest desire is to preserve this dynamic and to complete it with a permanent peace agreement in the shortest possible time,” the minister noted.
