A new episode of the program "Azerbaijan and the World" has been released on the AZERTAC website. Host Tamilla Mammadova spoke with Hungarian international relations expert László Vasa about how Azerbaijan is becoming a key partner for Hungary in the region.

Vasa noted that Hungary is the only EU country with observer status in the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), which opens up new strategic opportunities for the country, and Azerbaijan plays a crucial role in this process. He emphasized that active engagement with Baku helps Budapest strengthen ties not only in the region but also internationally.

The expert also mentioned that energy cooperation with Azerbaijan enhances the security of Hungary and all Central Europe by creating reliable supply routes and strengthening regional stability. He added that successful joint projects demonstrate that regional cooperation can be a powerful tool for sustainable development and mutual trust between countries.
