As part of a working visit to Mexico, a delegation of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis visited the Matías Romero Institute.
During a meeting with Juan José Bremer de Martino, Director General of the Institute, the sides discussed opportunities for academic cooperation, prospects for collaboration with ADA University and other educational institutions, regional issues, and new priorities in bilateral relations.
Samad Seyidov, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Affairs, delivered a lecture titled “New Realities in the South Caucasus: Azerbaijan's path to peace and regional prosperity.” The lecture highlighted Azerbaijan’s path to independence, the pivotal role of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in restoring and strengthening the country’s sovereignty, the 44-day Patriotic War, Azerbaijan’s peace agenda, and new geopolitical realities in the region.
