A delegation led by Mohammed Ahmed Al Yamahi, President of the Arab Parliament, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Alley of Honors in Baku on February 11.
The President of the Arab Parliament paid tribute to National Leader Heydar Aliyev, founder and architect of modern and independent Azerbaijan, by laying a wreath and flowers at his grave.
The delegation also visited Victory Park in Baku, where they placed a wreath at the Victory Monument.
During the visit, the delegation was provided with detailed information about Victory Park, which was established to preserve the memory of the unparalleled heroism displayed by the Azerbaijani people during the Patriotic War, the brilliant Victory achieved, and to eternally commemorate the blessed memory of the martyrs.
