“The number of tourists traveling from Israel to Azerbaijan doubled in the first 11 months of 2025. Currently, there are 20 flights per week, and this figure is planned to be increased,” said Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov during a briefing with his Israeli counterpart, Gideon Sa’ar.
Noting that international and regional security issues were also discussed at the meeting, the minister added: “We exchanged views on the ceasefire in the Middle East and the situation in Gaza. We support the establishment of peace and a negotiated settlement.”
