Anar Guliyev, Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan, met with Maksat Mamytkanov, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Azerbaijan.
The sides discussed issues of strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as the expansion of cooperation in the fields of urban planning and architecture.
Anar Guliyev highlighted the fraternal support provided by Kyrgyzstan for the restoration and reconstruction works in Garabagh and East Zangezur. According to him, the opening of a school building in the village of Khidirli in the Aghdam district this year is one of the best examples of this support.
He also expressed confidence that joint projects with Kyrgyzstan would develop even more successfully in the future.
Anar Guliyev invited the Kyrgyz side to actively participate in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), which is set to be held in Baku in 2026.
