Azerbaijani, Turkish FMs discuss bilateral and regional issues

On December 3, Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan on the sidelines of the 32nd Ministerial Council meeting of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

The sides discussed development of strong friendship, brotherhood and strategic alliance between Azerbaijan and Türkiye across all areas, as well as the current security situation in the region and efforts to ensure regional peace and stability.

They also emphasized the importance of maintaining the high-level political dialogue between the two countries.

The officials reviewed prospects for the implementation of economic and trade, energy and transport and communication projects, including regional connectivity initiatives.

The ministers highlighted the significance of continuing close cooperation within international organizations, emphasizing that the mutual support between Azerbaijan and Türkiye have positively contributed to the regional cooperation.

The parties also exchanged views on other bilateral and regional issues.
