Romania’s leading outlet “Stiripesurse” has published an article highlighting the recent acceleration in political and economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Egypt.

The article mentioned that high-level contacts between Baku and Cairo have intensified, with both sides discussing the expansion of cooperation in areas such as energy, transport and logistics, agriculture, and the defense industry.

The author also said that increasing trade turnover, promoting mutual investments, and implementing new economic projects are among the priorities for both Azerbaijan and Egypt.

"Strengthening cooperation between the two countries holds significant importance for regional stability, energy security, and strategic partnership. Egypt and Azerbaijan are also showing interest in joint use of transit opportunities and in enhancing ties among Global South countries," the article added.

The article also highlighted that growing momentum in relations between Baku and Cairo paves the way for broader political and economic projects in the future.
