An Azerbaijani delegation led by Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev, who is on a visit to Romania, met with Alex Florin Florența, Prosecutor General of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice of Romania.
The meeting, attended by Gudsi Osmanov, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Romania, focused on the development of friendly and strategic relations between the two countries, cooperation between prosecutorial bodies, and other issues of mutual interest.
Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev thanked Romania for the invitation, noting that relations between Romania and Azerbaijan in Europe are based on deep historical, cultural and friendly traditions. According to him, relations between the two countries are mutually beneficial and productive.
The Azerbaijani Prosecutor General described his visit to Romania as a new stage in cooperation between the prosecutor's offices of the two countries and invited the Romanian side to visit Azerbaijan.
Romanian Prosecutor General Alex Florin Florența welcomed the Azerbaijani delegation, emphasizing the importance of developing relations with Azerbaijan.
Subsequently, the Romanian side briefed the Azerbaijani delegation on the activities of prosecutorial bodies in the country. The sides also exchanged constructive views on cooperation in the legal field.
During the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation also met with the Minister of Justice of Romania, Radu Marinescu. The discussions focused on the strategic partnership between the two states, the development of legal cooperation, and other issues of mutual interest.
