The leading media outlets of Uzbekistan, including “gazeta.uz”, “UPL.uz”, “KUN.uz”, “Podrobno.uz”, “Uznews.uz”, “Repost.uz”, “Anhor.uz”, “Nuz.uz” have extensively covered Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to the country to attend the 7th Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia held in Tashkent and Azerbaijan’s accession as a full-fledged participant of the Consultative Meeting.

According to the reports, Azerbaijan is a reliable partner for Central Asia and plays an important role in expanding relations with Europe.

“Gazeta.uz” writes that Azerbaijan is one of the developed states of the region, and the decision adopted at the 7th Consultative Meeting to form a trade alliance worth 20 billion with the Central Asian countries is not accidental. This decision will serve to increase the trade turnover of the regional countries with Azerbaijan.

The Uzbek information agencies, newspapers, radio, and television channels also highlighted Azerbaijan’s cooperation with Uzbekistan and, more broadly, with Central Asia.
