As part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

The meeting focused on the current state of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bahrain. The two sides discussed prospects for further developing these ties and exchanged views on regional and international developments.

Minister Bayramov expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality extended to him and voiced confidence that the visit would help further strengthen bilateral cooperation.

Both parties hailed the high level of political dialogue between the two nations and stressed the importance of advancing this dynamic through concrete initiatives in areas such as economy, trade, investment, tourism, logistics, and information and communication technologies.

The sides also noted with satisfaction that next year will mark the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Bahrain, underlining the importance of continuing to build on the longstanding principles guiding bilateral cooperation.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on other matters of mutual interest.
