“The Minsk group has been established exactly for the resolution of the Karabakh issue. Now that our lands have been liberated from the occupation, there is no logic behind keeping the Minsk Group institutions functioning,” said Jeyhun Bayramov, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a joint press conference with Feridun Sinirlioğlu, OSCE Secretary General.
“Armenia must also undertake the necessary steps on abolishing the Minsk Group. The faster this process will be implemented, the greater it will contribute to the overall environment and the post-conflict normalization process. What we do not understand is why Armenia is still keen on keeping this structure functioning,” the Foreign Minister emphasized.
