“We strongly condemn the massacre of innocent civilians by Armenian armed forces in Khojaly, Azerbaijan on 26 February 1992,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye regarding the 33rd anniversary of the Khojaly massacre.
“The pain of our 613 brothers and sisters massacred in Khojaly, as well as those who were wounded, taken captive, and went missing, still weighs heavy on our hearts.
We wish Allah's mercy upon those who lost their lives during the Khojaly massacre and reiterate our condolences to the people of Azerbaijan,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry added.
