Lavrov: Moscow ready to assist normalization between Yerevan and Baku

Russia is ready to assist in normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan in all areas, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said during negotiations with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan, Report informs via Russian media.

"We are ready to provide necessary assistance in normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan across all tracks, developing the trilateral agreements reached by the leaders of the three countries in 2020 and 2022," said the minister.

Regarding cooperation between Russia and Armenia, Lavrov said that trade and economic relations between the two countries are on the rise.

"Trade turnover is reaching record levels, almost $12 billion for the past year," he noted.
