Georgian FM, Azerbaijani Ambassador “positively” assess “wide spectrum” of strategic partnership

Maka Botchorishvili, the Georgian Foreign Minister and Faig Guliyev, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to the country, on Saturday “positively” assessed “the wide spectrum” of strategic partnership between the two nations and highlighted the “successful” cooperation in trade, economy, transport, and energy, Agenda.ge reported.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the topical issues of the bilateral agenda, including Botchorishvili’s planned official visit to Azerbaijan and the upcoming tenth session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the two countries.
The importance of “peaceful and stable development of the [South Caucasus] region” was also reviewed at the meeting, with the sides expressing readiness to “make the exemplary strategic cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan even more dynamic”, the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.
