Philemon Yang, President of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, has expressed his condolences to Azerbaijan following the tragic crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines plane en route from Baku to Grozny.
“I extend my deepest condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims and to the government and people of Azerbaijan following the tragic crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines passenger plane in Aktau, western Kazakhstan,” the President said on X.
“My thoughts and prayers are with those affected by this devastating loss. May they find strength, comfort, and solace during this difficult time,” Philemon Yang added.
