The holders of diplomatic, special and service passports of Azerbaijan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will be exempted from visa requirements for short-term visits.
The draft law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the approval of the "Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on waiving the mutual visa requirements for diplomatic, special and service passport holders for short-term visits” was put onto the parliament meeting’s agenda.
The document was signed on September 27, 2024 in New York City.
Following the discussions, the draft law was adopted.
