Turkiye’s Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu congratulated Azerbaijan on the second anniversary of the opening of Zangilan International Airport.
The Turkish minister shared his congratulations on social media on Sunday, October 20.
The minister recalled the participation of the leaders of Turkiye and Azerbaijan in the opening ceremony of the airport in Zangilan, which was liberated from Armenian occupation.
Minister Uraloğlu expressed confidence that Zangilan Airport marks a new chapter in the development of brotherly Azerbaijan. He emphasized that cooperation in civil aviation will further strengthen the bond between Turkiye and Azerbaijan.
Uraloğlu also shared a photo of Zangilan International Airport, as well as an image of Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan cutting the symbolic red ribbon during the airport's opening ceremony.
