An International Forum of Ombudsmen themed “Climate Change and Human Rights: The Role of Ombudspersons and National Human Rights Institutions” has commenced in Baku.
The event organized by the Azerbaijan's Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) brought together state and government officials, representatives of international organizations, ombudspersons and public figures.
The forum will host panel discussions on exchange of knowledge and best practices, public access to information on climate change and its impacts and promotion of business accountability in the context of climate change.
