Malaysian parliamentarian says no interference recorded during elections in Azerbaijan

No interference in the choice of citizens was detected in the polling stations, said Nur Jazlan Mohamed, the Deputy President of the Dewan Negara (the upper house of the Parliament of Malaysia), said at the press conference held on September 2 regarding the results of the snap parliamentary elections, Report informs.

He noted that they were invited by the Milli Majlis (National Assembly) of Azerbaijan. "This is my second time participating as an international observer in elections in Azerbaijan. Prior to this, I took part in the presidential election held in Azerbaijan in February. Just like last time, we witnessed the high level of conducting the elections. We saw how democratic elections are held in Azerbaijan," he said.
