Over 110,000 local observers registered for Azerbaijan’s snap elections

The number of local observers registered to monitor the upcoming snap parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, scheduled for September 1, 2024, has surpassed 110,000, according to Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC), Mazahir Panahov, Report informs.

Panahov stated that these observers will have unrestricted access to monitor the election process at polling stations.

“In general, there are no restrictions or registration requirements for media representatives. I ask journalists to convey the process from the regions, especially Karabakh, to the whole world on the voting day,” he said.
