The 4th International Conference on Small Island Developing States “Charting the Course Toward Resilient Prosperity” was held in St. John's, the capital of Antigua and Barbuda, bringing together several government officials from around the world.
Addressing the conference, Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova read out President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev’s address to the event participants.
Speaker Sahiba Gafarova said that the Presidency team of the COP29, which is scheduled to be held Azerbaijan, is also participating in this conference, adding that the Azerbaijani team is ready to meet with all parties, listen to them, and ensure that the issues to be raised are reflected in the COP29 plans.
