Azerbaijan, Türkiye ink 2 memorandums of understanding in SME sector

The Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA) under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and the Türkiye-Azerbaijan Business Council of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation, Report informs referring to KOBIA.

The memorandum provides for various measures to expand cooperation in the field of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs). The document was signed by Chairman of the Board of KOBIA Orhan Mammadov and Deputy Chairman of DEIK Erdal Eren.

At the meeting of Mammadov with Director General of the Statistical, Economic and Social Research and Training Centre for Islamic Countries (SESRIC), Zehra Zumrut Selcuk, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between KOBIA and SESRIC was also signed.

Presently, 11 memorandums of understanding and two protocols of intent have been signed between KOBIA and the relevant institutions in Türkiye.
