France is rapidly arming Armenia and taking various steps to turn the South Caucasus region into a conflict zone, MP Nizami Safarov, said at the plenary session of the parliament on April 19, Report informs.
Safarov noted that France has shown special activity for the adoption of various documents against Azerbaijan at the UN Security Council, the Parliament of the European Union, and other international platforms: "France, which shows no interest in the establishment of peace and security regime in the South Caucasus region, is rapidly arming Armenia and is taking various steps to turn this region into a conflict zone again. Of course, such attempts will be resolutely prevented by Azerbaijan, and as the most powerful country in the region, both economically and militarily, Azerbaijan will solve all the problems on the agenda in the most efficient way."
