Head of Presidential Administration Samir Nuriyev introduces newly appointed Minister of Justice to staff

Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Samir Nuriyev has introduced the Minister of Justice, Farid Ahmadov, to the staff.

Addressing the ceremony, Samir Nuriyev emphasized that the formation and development of the modern judicial system in the independent Republic of Azerbaijan is associated with National Leader Heydar Aliyev`s name. He underlined that thanks to coherent and purposeful legal reforms conducted under the leadership of the Great Leader, Azerbaijan`s judicial system entered a new phase of development in line with international norms and principles, the legal framework governing its multifaceted activities was formed, the ministry`s authorities were broaden, and its role in society increased.

The head of the Presidential Administration noted that President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, who successfully continues the legal state-building process, permanently pays special attention to the development of the judicial system and legal reforms.

“New directions of activity, duties and rights of the Ministry of Justice, along with rules and conditions to serve in the judicial authorities, were defined under legislative acts approved by the head of state. Appropriate measures have been taken to develop the judicial authorities. The measures taken by the President of Azerbaijan to enhance the role of justice in the legal state-building process clearly demonstrates his commitment to ensuring the rule of law and the reliable protection of human rights,” Samir Nuriyev added.

Drawing attention to President Ilham Aliyev`s instructions regarding the tasks set before the ministry, Samir Nuriyev expressed his confidence that the staff would spare no effort to implement them, and wished success to the newly appointed minister and the staff.
