Senegalese President Macky Sall will visit Baku to participate in the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), the newly appointed Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Senegal in Azerbaijan, Cheikh Gueye, told Report.
"Last month, when I presented my credentials to the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, he invited head of state of Senegal Macky Sall to Baku to participate in the COP29. I conveyed it [to the president of Senegal - ed.]. The President of Senegal accepted the invitation and said that he will visit Azerbaijan," the diplomat said.
