Western Azerbaijan Community: Ararat Mirzoyan’s recent statements in Brussels another example of hypocrisy

The recent statements made by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan in Brussels are another example of hypocrisy,” the Western Azerbaijan Community said in a statement.

“The Armenian minister, who said that "there is no need to create a new border line", somehow "forgets" that until 2020, it was his country, by violating the Almaty Declaration, about which they recently talk with enthusiasm, sought to create a new border line, keeping the territories of Azerbaijan under occupation.

For 30 years, the border line for Armenia passed through Aghdam and Fuzuli, and it was the same Ararat Mirzoyan who, from the first days of the Patriotic War made empty statements supporting the occupation such as: "We are strong. We will win. Glory to the Armenian army.” Following their failure, the Armenian officials’ creating the image of victim is just repulsive.

Armenia’s discussion with the European Union on the issue of "protecting the Armenian cultural heritage in Karabakh" is a blatant threat to the sovereignty of our country. Ararat Mirzoyan should be involved in sending a UNESCO mission to Armenia to protect the cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people,” the Community added.
