The 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) to be held in Azerbaijan was discussed with the Egyptian ambassador, said the chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture, Anar Guliyev, Report informs.
He noted that in the meeting with Ambassador Hisham Mohamed Nagy Abdel Hamid, talks were held on large-scale projects in the field of urban planning in the country, the importance of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) to be held in Azerbaijan in 2026 was discussed, the issues of preparation for the World Urban Forum (WUF12) to be held in Cairo in November of this year were touched upon, the prospects for the development of cooperation and mutual relations in various directions were discussed.
