Deputy Chairman of the Youth Union of the Western Azerbaijan Community, Member of the Milli Majlis, Kamal Jafarov, exposed the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe, Dunja Mijatović, at the winter session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe held in Strasbourg, France, Report informs.

Jafarov drew attention to Mijatović's report on her last visit to the region, in which she deliberately did not include the issue of Azerbaijanis expelled from Armenia, and demanded that the commissioner explain the reasons for this ethnic discrimination.

Mijatović stated that she was not prejudiced against the Azerbaijanis who were expelled from Armenia in order to clear herself and told another lie, claiming that the report was of a general nature. The truth is that although Mijatović met Armenians who moved from Azerbaijan in Armenia and Azerbaijanis who moved from Armenia in Azerbaijan, she devoted her report exclusively to Armenians and did not mention a single word about Azerbaijanis.

All this clearly shows what a deplorable state the Council of Europe is in and how human rights mechanisms, including the European Convention on Human Rights, are misused for nefarious purposes.
