Indonesia hosts event dedicated to Heydar Aliyev's centenary

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Indonesia has organized an event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Great Leader and the Day of Solidarity of Azerbaijanis in the capital Jakarta as part of the "Year of Heydar Aliyev".

The event was attended by officials of public institutions, including the Presidential Administration of Indonesia, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defense, and Internal Affairs, representatives of Nahdlatul Ulama, which is the world’s largest Islamic organization, the Turkish Ambassador to Indonesia, as well as members of the local public and media representatives.

First, the participants viewed the photos highlighting the life of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev.

Following the screening of the film about the life of the National Leader, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Indonesia Jalal Mirzayev provided insight into the life path and political activities of Heydar Aliyev, the founder of modern Azerbaijan.

“Thanks to the successful continuation of the National Leader's policy by President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan's position in the international arena is enhancing, and its political and economic power is growing day by day,” the diplomat emphasized.
