The opening of the Zangazur corridor will connect mainland Azerbaijan with Türkiye through Nakhchivan, Turkish Minister of Trade Omer Bolat said at the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the founding of the Republic of Türkiye.
According to him, Nakhchivan is very important for Türkiye. The minister noted that Azerbaijan is one of the significant countries in the Middle Corridor: “We wish the cargo transportation from Istanbul to Baku to be convenient and competitive. As Türkiye, we are ready to provide all kinds of support for this.”
