A working group, comprised of representatives from the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security, Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, as well as the Central Election Commission, “Delta Telecom “ LTD, “Ultel” PLC and R.I.S.K. Company, convened for its first meeting. The goal of this group is to provide technical support for the upcoming snap presidential election in Azerbaijan scheduled for February 7, 2024.
During the meeting, the primary focus was on ensuring that polling stations are equipped with reliable and sustainable video conferencing and communication tools.
The group also adopted the decision to implement measures and maintain ongoing discussions to address any challenges related to the snap election.
